Come and join me for some fun playing, experimenting and learning new techniques. I like to keep my classes relatively small so I can provide individual attention to each student. I believe that learning should be fun and stress free.

Just Skimming the Surface
We will spend our time creating one of- a- kind fabrics by experimenting with ways to change the surface. We will discuss the properties of various types of paint and how they react on fabric. We will explore stamping, stenciling, painting, monoprinting and more.
All levels
4 evenings (8 hours)

Have you always wanted to make an appliqué landscape but not quite sure how to start. Well join me and we will explore ways to simplify the process. We will start by looking at pictures and design elements then breaking them down to their basic parts. We will then render these parts using fabric and other surface design techniques.

Have you always wanted to make an appliqué sunset but not quite sure how to start. Well join me and we will explore ways to simplify the process. We will start by looking at pictures and design elements then breaking them down to their basic parts. We will then render these parts using fabric and other surface design techniques.

Make your own unique fabrics that you can use to make landscape art.. We will discuss the properties of various types of paint and how they react on fabric. We will look at the nature of colors and texture. Then we will render them on fabric and look at some simple designs to use them.
