October Workday at Elm City

What fun and production we all had at the October Workday!!  I am always amazed at the variety of projects and what people are producing, while socializing.  Workdays are so much a part of our Guild an I recommend that you all, especially the Newbies, take advantage of the expertise that flows at these events.

Have a look below at some of the projects underway...maybe you saw some at the Guild Quilt show all completed?

GORGEOUS piece of fabric!!

We have a guild member Marg Rutledge, trying to decide how to use this stunning fabric in a quilt and getting "the most" exposure and colour.  With the help of our resident co-ordinator, Pat Kennedy, fussy cutting as shown was suggested.  Cannot wait to see what Marg decided!  What would you do?

Linda Wolstenholme has lovely colours chosen for the beginnings of her table runner!

Charlotte showing colourful fabric.

Charlotte with her beaded, decorated bag.

Kathy O'Connell is working on one of her Christmas quilt Appliqué squares, and socializing!

Marg Rutledge is pinning her quilt together for quilting-always room on our big tables!

 Joyce
Perry working on pretty floral blocks...
Time to get some UFO's done and completed...you know the saying "done is good"?
Kathy Feltmate's star blocks (from a BOM BC kit)...

Linda B. busy working on her 'blocks of the month'
Diane Kelly's colorful blocks done with curves...

Convinced yet?  Come along to one of our workdays and see for yourself...bring your lunch and stay awhile.  Great value for $5.00!!
